Hashimoto and ICSI

02. August 2021

Good evening. We will probably start ICSI soon. I'm supposed to be on the pill for a month beforehand. I have Hashimoto's syndrome, which is currently fairly well controlled. How often should I have the values checked while taking the pill and the subsequent stimulation. Thank you very much for your reply.

Cycle length

02. August 2021

Dear medical team, we would like to have a child. The spermiogram is good. I have had shortened cycles for some time now. I used to always have a 28 to 30 day cycle. I now have cycles of 26 days. One ovulation has been, I measure that with ovulation tests. Can you even get pregnant on a 26 day cycle? Is 26 days normal? I was under the assumption that you had to have at least a 28 day cycle to even get pregnant?

Start of treatment - first day of menstruation

02. August 2021

Dear PAN Team, I am a little confused about the first day of menstruation and thereby the start of stimulation. Currently the first day for me is associated with the usual symptoms (slight pulling or similar), but usually minimal bleeding, albeit red. It's not until the next day that I have a real bleed. In this case, does the first or the second day count for the start of treatment? Thank you very much for your answer. With best regards

Good morning, I would like to know what protocol you use for downregulation in PCO. Or is the decision always individual and dependent on the circumstances? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Number of follicles during stimulation ICSI

02. August 2021

Good morning, I am 34 years old and would like to know if you stimulate with Puregon. How many folds are appropriate so that the quality is not compromised. I always read that so many leaflets are pierced (15-30 pieces), but that can't be good, can it? Thank you very much indeed.

GnRH pump

02. August 2021

Hi, does your clinic offer stimulation with a GnRH pump (Lutre Pulse) in combination with GVNP (no IUI) for the treatment of hypothalamic ovarian insufficiency? If I have statutory health insurance, will the costs be covered in full by my health insurance? Thank you very much in advance.

Synarela

02. August 2021

Good evening. In preparation for our next ICSI, I have to take Synarela nasal spray morning and night. The package insert says to clean the tip of the nasal spray under warm water before and after each use. This means that if you are "on the go", you can't just take the spray with you. Is it bad to take the spray half an hour later when you just do not have a tap within reach beforehand? Or is it better to spray every 12 hours, even if you can't clean the spray then and clean the bottle at home later? Thanks for your reply (and sorry for the stupid question - but I'm so unsure and do not want to get anything wrong).
