Hi, my husband had a vasectomy about a year ago. In the meantime we regret this decision very much and are looking for possibilities to get pregnant again. I got pregnant naturally and without complications. I keep reading about insemination. For us, however, only homologous insemination is an option. I am aware that my husband is currently unable to release sperm naturally. Is there still the possibility of insemination, can the sperm be collected in another way (surgically?)?
Answer:
Hi, after the sterilisation of the man there is the possibility to surgically remove sperm from the testicles and thereby perform an artificial insemination (insemination is not possible) or to surgically reverse the sterilisation itself (through urologist), with best regards Your PAN-Team
