ICSI study after miscarriage get reimbursed by health insurance?

Dear Pan Team, I have learned from an acquaintance that in the case of a miscarriage, the ICSI attempt must be actively credited to the health insurance. Is that right? She said I needed the treatment plan and diagnosis from the hospital. The treatment plan is at your home. Can I just come and pick it up? Does it have to be done promptly at all or can it still happen when you tackle the next ICSI (we'd like to do it in the spring then). Many thanks.

Answer:

Hi,

it is correct that the health insurance company again financially supports the attempt with a miscarriage. You do not have to do anything yourself. Only if no more attempt is approved, the new application is submitted to the insurance company, with best regards
