Andrological laboratory

Examination of sperm quality

Do you want to be a father and have you chosen a fertility treatment? Then we check your sperm - to investigate the cause of infertility, therapy and preparation for artificial insemination. You give us a sample in one of our three attractively designed rooms.

Creation of a spermiogram

First we determine macroscopic parameters such as volume, pH, etc. Then we examine the number of sperm and their motility and morphology under the microscope. We also perform any immunological and bacteriological investigations which follow the different provisions of physical, morphological, biochemical, immunological and Histochemical parameters of the ejaculate. We use sperm functional testing, for example, in the cervical mucus, zona binding testing or the HOS test with special problems.

In addition, our responsibilities include the extraction of sperm from testicular tissue as well as the cryopreservation of sperm. The required processing of the sperm is also done under clean room conditions as for its use in therapy (IUI, IVF, ICSI, TESE, MESA).

The quality of our ejaculate analysis is continuously verified by external Interlaboratory tests. Rely on our expertise!
